This is the hardest poem I've written.
But, this closure I must find.
I've said goodbye to a loved one
Who was sweet and loving and kind.

I considered her my sister,
Though the wife of my dear brother.
He was her first love and her last,
She had not known another.

They had two precious children,
A daughter and a son.
They thought their life complete,
Perfect happiness they had won.

But, one day the angels came
To take this brother of mine.
She wanted to go with him, but,
God said "It's not your time."

As the days turned into years,
Nothing seemed to make her glad.
She'd say "I want to be with him,
He's the best friend I ever had."

For seven years she struggled
Living each day, one by one,
Until the day God called her home
Saying "Child, your wish is done."

We will miss Nor for we loved her,
But, we would not wish her back.
For she's now with God in Heaven
And with her beloved husband Jack.

My brother Jack was also a guitarist.

applied to the two of them
