The Journey
Mary and Joseph had journeyed far
traveling more, they were not able.
The inn was full but the innkeeper said
he'd offer them the stable.

Because her time was drawing near
they accepted gratefully.
And, on this night, this holy night,
a miracle came to be.

This miracle was the birth of Christ,
the King of Kings is He.
A star guided wisemen to where He lay,
the Holy one to see.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ
one thing we all should know;
God sent His Son on Christmas day
because He loves us so.
