I have a friend named Mindy

and though we've never met,

we've dried each others tears

or shared laughs via internet.

She has a precious puppy

who doesn't shed at all.

A five pound little poodle,

a fluffy, loving ball.

She named this puppy "Nicki".

She just turned one year old.

SShe's a loving little "lap dog"

that Mindy loves to hold.

She loves to go for rides

where she quickly falls asleep.

There's nothing she'd love better

than to ride in the mailmans jeep.

I'm sure if I'd visit Mindy,

the view awaiting me,

would be Nicki sitting on Mindy's lap,

a vision of love to see.
