MICRO GIRL

You've helped me with my learnin',

Said "lectric I could save" -

Through "thick and thin" you guided

As I learned to microwave!

I fumbled with the touch-pad

And the sensor I will learn.

I practice with the timer

So the food I will not burn.

I do a little better

As I try to make my way -

Through pages and then chapters

On "cooking the modern way."

I appreciate your patience

And time spent on the phone

And all of your instructions -

As I tried it on my own.

I'm a little more familiar now -

A "wee bit" more at ease.

But, if I get in trouble,

Will you help me once more, please?
