As Christmas Day Approaches

As Christmas Day approaches

there are changes that take place.

Smiles instead of frowns

appear on every face.

Shoppers rushing to and fro

to find a special gift,

take time to say "Happy Holiday"

which gives your heart a lift.

I pray that we all realize

behind our "Yuletide behavior",

is the "reason for the season",

the birth of our dear Saviour.
