You arrived bearing gifts

All in wrappers and bows

For each individual

Something special you chose.

We all want to thank you

For all that you've done

To make sure this holiday

Was a real special one.

We looked at our gift tags

To see what they'd say -

"Merry Christmas, we love you"

signed, Gloria and Ray.

Some received afghans

Or something real handy,

Framed pictures and calendars

Popcorn and candy.

You grabbed our attention,

You made us say "look-ee",

Poetry all printed

By one known as "Cookie."

In closing we're grateful

For all that you did -

I think that we'll keep you,

You're a real special kid.
