The angel appeared
The star shone so bright
Leading its followers
To a glorious sight

A babe in a manger
In swaddling clothes
So tiny and perfect
From His head to His toes

This babe's name was Jesus
Our Saviour, God's Son
Born upon this holy night
In Him our victory's won

Happy Birthday Jesus
From people everywhere
Stay ever close beside us
Is our ever grateful prayer
